Position Description:
The Vital Voices team is seeking motivated interns who will support the Political and Civic Engagement (PCE) team and assist with the VVEngage program, which is specifically geared to increase the leadership and technical capacity of women leaders in the elected and appointed office, as well as in key positions in civil society. This position reports to the Program Manager of Political and Civic Engagement.
The internship requires a commitment of 20-40 hours per week. The position is unpaid, but students may receive academic credit for their experience in cooperation with their university. Applications are accepted for the fall, spring, and summer terms, and preference will be given to students who can commit to a full semester. Due to the ongoing issues surrounding COVID-19, Vital Voices is accepting remote applicants for this internship position for the Spring 2021 semester.
