Welcome!

As a Georgia High school student, my future after graduation was a mystery for me. Fortunately, I became heavily focused on foreign languages and cultures when I took my first Spanish class, where I was introduced to different aspects of the world. I constantly asked questions as I learned more about particularly French and Spanish speaking countries. One question was "Why can't society solve its problems as easily as we do in books, or simulations, or even in dreams?" Many people would say the issues were too complicated and people don’t want to be helped. I believed that until I learned about the agents of change trying to solve our global problems. I became increasingly inspired as I learned about each new person and have been hooked on international affairs and development ever since. Some of my inspirations include (click their names for a surprise): David Katz, who successfully inspired people to clean their communities to reduce poverty, Dubai, who created a 100% sustainable city, and Juha Kaakinen, whose team ended homelessness in Finland. As a person who is concentrated in the fields of sustainable development, nonprofit leadership, international education, and exchange, in the future I hope to start a CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) that promotes healthy globalization and development. For now, I am a recent college graduate and (2023-2024) Fulbright recipient who, in time, will instill a project for change that is sure to blow you away. Stay tuned.
